"Travelosophy" (a.k.a. philosophy of travel) . . .
They want to ensure travelers feel like friends and family rather than like cattle being herded.
They want travelers to have the safety and security of being with a group and the confidence of being with a guide, yet the freedom to come and go as they please, with zero agenda if preferred.
Rather than being directed toward the tourist traps, they want to design trips to be explored and experienced as if guests were locals. They want travelers to experience the best local eateries and local must-sees as defined by "the locals".
To support this Travelosophy:
They will travel with an intimate group size of 10-20.
They will ensure ample freedom and flexibility to spend as much time relaxing or exploring on one's own, as one wishes.
With each Journey, Meredith will share her thoughtfully-created Hot Spot List which will include an overview of the hotel, its amenities and its location within the city or area.
In the Local Eateries and Local Must-Sees section of the Hot Spot List will be an overview of what each restaurant's ambiance embodies, as well as a few items to try and/or for what the restaurant is famous. The walking distance from the hotel will be listed, as well as the district, address and phone number so that guests can easily plug the info into the maps on their phone, and call for reservations if desired.
A couple of nights of each trip, Meredith will be announcing the evening restaurant she will be visiting and will ensure there is enough open seating available for the group. A text RSVP that morning will guarantee guests a seat at the table. This dining is completely optional and cost is covered by guest.
